Synopsis: (continued from ST #139)

Dormammu whisks Dr. Strange, the Ancient One and Mordo to an alternate dimension in order that he can take part in the final battle directly. Before he leaves, he puts the Mindless Ones to sleep so he does not have to worry about their distraction. Then he summons the neighboring rulers of the alternate dimensions to come and be spectators to his awesome powers as he tries to defeat Dr. Strange.

Meanwhile, Dr. Strange has Baron Mordo under firm control, and the spectators begin to come to witness the big battle. And finally, Dormammu arrives and challenges Dr. Strange to a one-on-one battle. He suggests they do not use their mystical powers, but instead battle each other with weapons called the Pincers of Power. As the nervous spectators look on, as well as Clea who is still imprisoned in Dormammu's dimension, Dr. Strange and the evil mystic battle each other with the pincers, which fit on their wrists like claws. It is a mighty fight, with both combatants using their dexterity and athleticism to counter the other, but Dr. Strange gets the upper hand when he uses a judo move on Dormammu and brings him down to the ground. Baron Mordo steps in from the sidelines and fires a bolt of mystic fire at Dr. Strange, knocking him unconscious. Dormammu steps up from the ground and stands over the body of Dr. Strange, as a heavy hush falls over the crowd.
