From the Mouths of the Marvels:

"Yet, I must not weaken! I must continue to fight - - to follow the path which my amulet blazes! I dare not be defeated! I dare not leave the world to the mercy of one such as Mordo!"

Synopsis: Mordo sets a trap for Dr. Strange, getting him to leave his body on a fool's errand and then abducting it. Stuck in his ethereal form, Mordo tells him that he is going to prevent him from returning to his body, thus dooming him after 24 hours. Dr. Strange scours the city with his amulet searching for his body, having to deal with Mordo's violent allies along the way. He gets past these obstacles to reach the place where his body last was, and he uses his amulet to trace the light waves that were left in the wake of Mordo stealing his body. He traces the steps back to a wax museum, where his body stands like a statue; but Mordo has cast a spell over it, and Dr. Strange cannot reenter! As time ticks off the clock, Dr. Strange flees from Mordo, who cackles that Dr. Strange is nothing but a coward! While he stands and gloats over his supposed victory, a wax figure of a warrior creeps toward him, grabbing him and gagging his mouth so he cannot utter any spells to save himself. Mordo goes into his ethereal form to do battle, but finds out the wax figure was animated by Dr. Strange himself. The two ethereal forms do battle, with Mordo appearing to destroy Strange once again, until he suddenly finds himself stuck inside a mystic trap. Dr. Strange had forced Mordo to do battle with a ruse image of himself, wasting all his strength. Dr. Strange reenters his body with only seconds to spare. He has once again outwitted Baron Mordo.
