From the Mouths of the Marvels:

"Truly this surpasses all reason - - all understanding! Such a being is far too wondrous to be destroyed! He must be captured! He must be studied! Bring you forth, then - - the Captivator!”

-- King Arrkam, discussing the Hulk, pg. 3

Story Synopsis: The Hulk finds himself surrounded by a futuristic army who adopt a threatening posture against him. He tosses a boulder at them, causing the leader of the group to order his warriors to fire their Exploso-Rays at him. These guns are ineffective against the Hulk, however, as is their Delta Missile. They are forced to pull out the big gun against the Hulk, the massive Captivator. The heavy gravity force rays of the Captivator cause the Hulk to fall paralyzed to the ground.

Back in the Hulk's proper timeline, General Ross' troops scour the White House lawn looking for the Hulk, but to no avail. The Deputy Chief of Staff pays a visit to Ross, reminding him that he must turn up the Hulk to the High Command or he's done for as a military man. Ross understands the pressure he's under, and races off to interrogate Rick Jones, the boy he knows has all the answers.

Back to the future, the Hulk is being wheeled on the back of a cart into a massive stone fortress. While waiting in his cell to recover from the paralysis and grogginess, he decides to bide his time to see what these people are up to. FInally, they take him at gunpoint to talk to the group's leader, King Arrkam. The king tells the Hulk his people are threatened by "The Evil One," and before he can even ask the Hulk to help aid them in their fight, the Hulk tells them he's not interested in anything but returning to his proper time. King Arrkam orders his men to attack the Hulk, and they surround him. But the Hulk is too powerful for them, and knocks them back, then tears his way out of the castle. As sirens go off all over town, he leaps outside the building's perimeter, where he sees an army of gunships atop long, metal legs walking towards the city- it is the Evil One!

The Hulk leaps over to one of the gunships and shouts to the person inside to come out. A porthole opens and up comes "the Evil One," in reality, he is The Executioner!
