Synopsis: While Jane Foster lies in suspended animation due to Thor's stoppage of time, the God of Thunder's battle against Mr. Hyde and the Cobra continues. Thor pushes them back and uses the break in battle to carry Jane away to safety. He runs into a few more traps set for him by the evil duo, but makes his way through them. Outside, passersby struggle to cope with the whirlwind that envelops the house, while in Asgard, Odin looks down upon the events that transpire in the life of his son. Balder sees Odin's frustration about the Thor/Jane Foster question, and he sings the All Father a ballad about the time when Odin was chasing after the forbidden love of his wife, Frigga.

Loki bursts into the room, accusing Balder of trying to trick Odin into thinking well of Thor and Jane Foster.

Down on Midgard, Thor once again squares off against the Cobra and Mister Hyde. But the two evildoers begin bickering with each other over who is the most capable of defeating Thor. The God of Thunder decides not to wait for their arguing to cease, and pounds Hyde a good one. Cobra launches gas pellets at Thor, who escapes in a whirlwind. The gases force Mister Hyde to run away before he inhales them.

Odin decides to heal Jane Foster so that the travails of his son, Thor, would cease. He sends Loki to find Hardol, the mystic healer, to concoct a potion. But Loki's peers circumvent this, and send Balder instead.

Thor's fight against the diabolical duo pays dividends when he lays out Mister Hyde for good by pushing the villain in front of a blast ray trap set for himself. He is also able to send a shockwave through the house, which finds a slithering Cobra inside the house walls and shocks him into submission.

While Thor immediately tends to Jane Foster's still form, Balder is risking his life to reach the home of Hardol, winding his way through the deadly lands of Asgard. He finally makes it there and gets the remedy for Jane, and sends it down to Thor, who feeds it to his beloved. Jane wakens with no memory of what has happened to her, and Thor gives Odin and Balder his deepest thanks.
