Synopsis: A missile test goes awry when the technicians on the ground lose control over it. They try do destroy it but their command doesn't go through. Dr. Don Blake hears the call for Thor's help, and he stamps his cane on the ground and transforms into the thunder god. As he streaks into outer space to stop the rogue missile, he is being watched by Loki, who tampered with the missile in the first place. Thor throws his hammer at the missile, which destroys it, and while it is on the path to return to him, Loki enacts the next part of his plan. He creates the mirage of a dragon that distracts Thor for a moment, but a moment is all it takes for his hammer Mjolnir to smack him upside the head! And, just as Loki had diabolically planned, the hammer has struck him so perfectly that it hit his "chromosomatic gland, which determines and changes personality."

Loki's plan was to activate this gland in Thor's brain and cause him to change his persona from good to evil. He mentally commands Thor to come to Asgard and free him from his uru chains. Thor barrels past Heimdall and frees Thor. The two of them pledge allegiance to each other and when Odin comes up and attacks Loki, Thor beats him off of his half-brother. Loki threatens Odin with the idea that he and Thor will go to Earth and rampage across the planet. Odin demands to know if Thor would support such a plan, and Thor concurs that whatever Loki wants, he wants! A shocked Odin remarks to his men that it is obvious Thor is under the thrall of Loki.

As part of their rampage on Earth, Thor creates huge thunderstorms, lightning bolts and earthquakes. He destroys dams, ignites volcanoes and blows up the Taj Mahal. He continues by knocking over the Eiffel Tower, the Great Pyramids, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Panama Canal and the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Loki conjures up sea serpent dragons, animates the Sphinx to life, rocks the Empire State Building off of its foundations, and brings dinosaurs to life.

After all this, they greet a UN delegation who come to them waving a white flag. The delegation asks them to convene to the United Nations building so they can try to convince Odin to surrender to Thor and Loki. Once there, Thor steps up onto the UN dais and destroys the United Nations emblem which stands behind him. He falls through a trap door in the floor, however, and is separated from his hammer as he falls below. The hammer hovers above him and all of a sudden, the hammer flies down and knocks him in the head again! The UN delegates take off their costumes and reveal themselves to be Odin and his band of Norse warriors, and with Thor now restored to his normal faculties, he launches his hammer at Loki and knocks him up side the head!

Thor then asks for the forgiveness of the people of Earth, and repairs all the damage he and Loki did. Then Odin erases their minds of all memory of this occurence.
