"Ol' Matt's the one with the brains - - but I'm the family pussycat! The name's Mike, gang - - and try not to applaud - - I'm almost as shy as I am glamorous!"

Synopsis: Matt Murdock has finally arrived in New York via jetplane, and as he disembarks he is astonished to sense a man in a business suit with his face covered by a mask leaping high up in the air in a bid to escape police pursuit. The man grabs ahold of Matt, threatening the police while "taking a breather". After a brief rest, he let's Matt go and leaps on his way. Matt heads to his law office after this weird occasion has ended, with explaining where he disappeared after Karen brought him to Madison Square Garden dressed as Daredevil (see DD #22.)

At the office, Karen is near tears in confusion after reading Spider-Man's letter to Matt, implying that he knew Daredevil's secret identity as the blind lawyer. Before Matt enters the office, his sensitive hearing picking up Karen's distress, and he readies himself to go into his big story. Karen and Foggy are very happy to see him, but questions soon turn to his disappearance. Matt says he left a note for Karen (which she obviously never got) explaining that after the excitement of that day, he decided to go take a rest vacation at the sea-shore. Karen counters with Spider-Man's note, which throws Matt into further damage control. He tells his friends that he has an identical twin brother who is Daredevil. He has never before told them about his brother "Mike" Murdock, for he was forbidden to reveal the secret identity of Daredevil. Both Foggy and Karen are unsure about this whole story, but they give Matt the benefit of the doubt, leaving him to catch up on work.

Matt decides to work off some anxiety as Daredevil, with his mission to find out more about Leap-Frog. At that very moment, the villain in question is finally done testing his spring contraption that allows him to bounce high up in the air, and dresses himself in the garb of the villainous Leap-Frog, making him look like a frog with a battery pack on his back for powering the springs. He bounces into the night to perform a jewelry store break-in. In his carelessness, he trips an alarm, drawing the attention of Daredevil. DD enters the store, but every time he tries to grab hold of the Leap-Frog, the villain bounces out of his way. DD can't even lay a hand on him before he bounces away into the distant night, a bag full of jewels alongside him.

The next morning, Foggy and Karen arrive at the office to see "Mike Murdock" sitting at the desk, legs propped up on the table, with trendy sunglasses on, tousled hair, a feathered hat and some hipster clothing. It is really Matt Murdock acting, and he hams it up big time in an effort to convince them that there really is a "Mike Murdock!" After hitting on Karen, making fun of Foggy's weight and telling a bunch of corny jokes, he overhears a radio report about Leap-Frog holding up a bank, and he tells them it's time for him to go into action! As he leaves, Karen and Foggy are reeling from having just met Matt's mysterious twin brother- who also happens to be Daredevil!

Daredevil lies in wait for the passing Leap-Frog, taking him by surprise by tackling him in mid-air. In close quarters, DD is able to lash his billy club cable around Leap-Frog, slamming him to the ground and then batting him with a relentless volley of punches. He finally knocks Leap-Frog into the drink of a nearby pond, and then turns his soaking captive over to the police.

The next day, Leap-Frog has contacted Nelson and Murdock for defense.
