Synopsis: Sue and Johnny have moved into the Baxter Building following the wedding, which just means more fighting between Johnny and Ben. While Reed sets his new wife up for domestic bliss, inventing an elaborate "fully-automated" dishwasher, Johnny starts to get ancy from being Ben's whipping boy and takes off in his sports car. He finds mysterious shock waves in the street that knock his car around, and surprise of all surprises, the beautiful but deadly Medusa in his back seat, with a vacuum gun aimed at his head! She is running from the ominous Gorgon, she tells him, and demands he keep driving so she can get away.

The Baxter Building is shaken by the same shock waves. Thing looks out the window to see a pair of hooves breaking through the wall as they climb. Reed stretches to meet the creature but gets his arm stamped on! The creature steals the FF's whirlybird and disappears into the distant sky. By this time, Medusa has forced Johnny at gunpoint to drive out to the countryside, near the spot where the FF battled Dragon Man (see FF #35). When he rebels, she fires her vacuum gun at him, absorbing his flame and knocking him out. Suddenly, Dragon Man, who had been in hibernation, breaks through the ground and lunges at Medusa. It corners her against a rock but looking at her, it is reminded of Sue Storm, and softens his attitude towards her.

Gorgon is revealed as he lands the whirlybird near Johnny's car. He crashes through the rocks and alarms Dragon Man, giving Medusa a chance to escape. Dragon Man protectively battles Gorgon on behalf of the beautiful Medusa, keeping him occupied while Medusa steals Johnny's car. Then, he flies after her and snatches it in his claws, taking her and the car with him. Gorgon returns to the whirlybird and follows Dragon Man in the air.

Sue puts Reed's arm in a sling, still hurting from Gorgon's attack, but he still stretches out and scours the city for the whirlybird. Dragon Man catches him outside and drags him and the other two members gripping onto him to a nearby rooftop where Medusa is held prisoner. Thing floors Dragon Man with one punch but then Gorgon appears! Medusa tries to explain the nature of the threat to Reed and Sue, when Gorgon sends Dragon Man through the floor with a foot stomp. Sue protects Medusa with a force field as Gorgon tries to grab her and take her away. Reed wants to stop and learn more about the strange connection between Gorgon and Medusa but just then, Johnny arrives and begins the battle anew. Dragon Man returns, grabs Sue and flies away while Gorgon brings the entire building down around them.
