To choose a vacation spot, Reed encourages Ben to throw a dart at a world map hanging on the wall. It lands in the South Pacific, so after Triton,
Crystal and Johnny help carry their luggage out to them, the FF trio board their Pogo Plane and rocket towards their destination. Unbeknownst
to them, they are heading straight for the Sentinel's island, and the Pogo Plane encounters interference from his protective devices, causing Sue
to have to envelope the craft with a force field to allow it to land safely.
But the Sentinel is ready, and before the ship can land, he grabs the Pogo Plane in mid-air, forcing the astonished Fantastic "Three" to have
to bail out and start fighting this unexpected opponent. Thing wallops the Sentinel, but it fights back just as fiercely, all the while uttering
statements about his mission to guard the island space port on behalf of his Kree masters. Reed enters the fray, stretching himself around
the giant robot and dragging him into the water.
Back in New York, Johnny and Crystal enjoy their own private time together while the rest of the team is away, and Triton tools around the
city on a jet cycle. Shattering the tranquility is a communique from Sue, calling on Johnny to come straightaway to the island where they
are being hounded by the Sentinel. Just as he closes in on Reed, Sue and Ben with a giant tidal wave, Johnny is transported by Lockjaw to
the scene, where he digs a deep trench that catches all the water gushing towards them. The Sentinel puts up a fierce defense, but one of
Johnny's flames digs underground and touches off a massive explosion when it hits the space port's energy supply. The ground quakes
under their feet, but it allows them to spot the captive scientists and save them before they have to flee the devastated island.
As Lockjaw teleports them all to safety, the Sentinel is left alone, to make his final report to his Kree masters that "Outpost Ten" has been
destroyed....
