Synopsis: Moon Boy roots on Devil Dinosaur as he takes on the dreaded triceratops, Thunder Horn. Later, he thinks back on the time when he and Devil Dinosaur first met and bonded as brothers, when the Killer Folk had gathered to kill the Tyrannosaur's mother and siblings. Prepared to sacrifice the last dino pup remaining to the volcano god, the Killer Folk burned him with the mystic fire of the volcano, which turned his skin red. But soon, they were scared away by a gigantic eruption from the volcano. Freed from the terrorizing Killer Folk, the small dino notices Moon Boy being threatened by another dinosaur and immediately sets in to rescue him. But the red dinosaur is totally exhausted from his abuse at the hands of the Killer Folk, and Moon boy returns the favor by shepherding him back to health.

Moon Boy and his new dinosaur pal are rejected by the Small Folk out of fear and they are shunned, making Moon Boy realize that the pair can only depend on each other now.

Currently, the Killer Folk, led by their new leader, Seven Scars, plan to slay Devil Dinosaur so they can retake mastery of the jungle. Their plan involves setting the jungle on fire to draw the attention of the giant dinosaur. Sure enough, Devil Dinosaur investigates the fire and walks treacherously close to the trap set by the Killer Folk....
