Graphitti Designs is a company that has a long-standing history of licensing comics images and characters to make all sorts of funky products, including t-Shirts, action figures, statues and prints. They pump out a lot of products, and their t-shirt selection is really cool; you can find a whole passel of t-shirts in the mold of the 60s MMMS advertisements! But the focus of this page is on their considerable library of hardcovers, an amazing collection of some of the best reprint material they could license.

Graphitti Designs produces hardcover books, reprinting material from the major publishers like Marvel, DC, and Image, to independent comics. The books are printed in limited edition, with print runs as low as 500 on up to a high of 10,000. Each project is approached differently. Many books are simple affairs, like the Daredevil Visionaries, which reprint the contents of the trade exactly, with only a tip-in plate added. But some books are far more extravagant, many with autographs from the creators or added CD-ROM material. Some, like DC's Watchmen, came in slipcases with sash bookmarks.

The standard of production is very high with Graphitti Designs, with Smyth-sewn bindings and dust-jackets. These books will stand proudly on your library shelf next to Masterworks, Archives or any other high-quality hardcover edition you may collect. Often, these books will go out of print after a time. The DC slipcase editions, for instance, are notable for their rarity and expense on the back market. This list, though still under construction, will aim to chart the total library of Graphitti Designs hardcovers, to make it easier for collectors like yourself to track down the books you want to purchase. Some of them are still available at retail, but many are out-of-print and will need to be hunted down.

If you see omissions on this list, or can offer corrections, please email me at gormuu *at* cox.net and let me know! I'm also looking for either scanned images of front covers or pictures taken with a digital camera for any book for which I don't already have that material. If you think you can be of assistance, please let me know! _______________________________
